On Misrepresenting the Lord

Not sure if anyone’s noticed, but I have only ever described my relationship with my Heavenly Father and our conversations. I believe everyone’s relationship with Him is deeply personal.

I should never proclaim He said you or anyone should do this or do that. I don’t think we should believe anyone who does that. And everything I describe between Him and I is my personal and human interpretation, which is subject to human frailty and mistakes. Always seek confirmation through scripture and the personal direct line of communication with the Boss Man.

[7] “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

Ezekiel 13:9

[9] My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, nor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Jeremiah 29:13-14

[13] You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. [14] I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Acts 17:26-27

[26] And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, [27] that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,

Romans 10:9-10

[9] because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

2 Corinthians 5:10

[10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Psalm 34:18

[18] The LORD is near to the brokenhearted

and saves the crushed in spirit.

Romans 8:15-16

[15] For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” [16] The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

John 1:12

[12] But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
